| As we all know, pedestrians crossings are for the needs of people to cross the road avoiding traffic accidents. In Australia, when a car is coming to a pedestrian crossing, it usually slows down to see if people are crossing of preparing to cross. In each of these cases, the car will stop and give way to the pedestrians. I think thats why its called "pedestrians crossing."
However, if you come to Taiwan, I'll be very proud to say that all the physical appearances of the crossings are all the same, white stripes about 10 to 15 cm gaps in between.
Now you visit Taiwan and assuming that all the regulations of Australia apply in Taiwan as well. You think, 'Wow, this place is great!! so many shops and everything is cheap, I bet no one could find a better shopping heaven than this!" Oh yeh, what you've thought all holds and they're all true. But then you come to a "pedestrians crossing." You wonder, "Hey, why the hell is everyone waiting in groups to cross the road?" Guess what! You think they're waiting for something else, so you cross the pedestrian crossing slowly with a cool attitude. Then a car comes by, then a police will come up to you and say,"Hey dude, you got 95% possibility that you die, better run!"
You stand there in shock. Thinking what you should do. -I'll leave the ending to your imagination-
But ill tell you two super likely endings. One ending is you die with blood covering all your body and the car, with the driver swearing a you all the way to the hospital. The other is that you survive and the driver still swears at you saying you dont have eyes.
So next time you visit Taiwan remember, the trip will be fun and enjoyable as long as you let the "cars" go through the "pedestrians" crossing first and just follow the whole heap of people thats waiting. (When they run...follow them!)

|  .......I was watching dvd and it was just so hot today so i brought the cooler out, then i watched for abt 3 hours and the dvd finally finished which was pretty relieving cause i dont have much to do in the hols..=.=''...anyways, i pressed the ON/OFF button on the dvd controller....then U KNOW WHAT HAPPENED!!!???? THE COOLER REACTED TO IT!!!! unfortunately it didnt turn the cooler off as did the dvd player BUT! then i tried other buttons.....U KNOW WHAT!!?? THE DVD CONTROLLER COULD CONTROL THE WHOLE FUNCTION OF THE COOLER....
cooler on and off= menu button
cooler wind strength= ON/OFF button
cooler timer= 9 button
cooler swing= up button
HOW COOL IS THAT!!! I should put this on "discovery" channel......
